The Watco Morven rail hub is now up and running, and as well as the initial construction stage, is now proving jobs for locals. They are also using lot hay contractors to supply hay for the cattle.
The rail hub is managed by Gidgee's Bush Camp one and only Mick Tindale-Smith. There has now been 3 trains out for the year, however resent rain has cancelled 2 trains now, but they plan to have trains leaving from Morven every Tuesday night.
The hub is not only for cattle trains it also offers, weighing, cross loading, spelling and industrial freight services. The project is still not complete as they are still in the construction stage by it is nearly finished.
